"FLEET ANGEL" the only survivor of three North East Harbor 30 Class Sloops designed by Nick Potter, who designed the 8 meter "Angelina" that won the gold medal in the 1928 Olympics. Her original name was "Betsy", hull build number1228, the original bronze plaque is still with the yacht. Fleet Angel is a documented vessel with the U.S. Coast Guard and has won many classic races.
The restoration was undertaken using the original plans and drawings obtained from the Hart Nautical Collection at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
